Sometimes sitting across from each other in an office isn’t what your nervous system needs. Sometimes your body needs movement, fresh air, and space to think. Walk & Talk Therapy offers exactly that. Being outdoors in nature can provide a calming and grounding effect, which can help to alleviate symptoms of anxiety or depression.
Walk & Talk is a structured, therapeutic session that takes place outdoors while we walk side by side. You still receive the same clinical support, guidance, and intentional interventions, just in a setting that allows your body and mind to work together.
While Walk & Talk is not intended for exercise, it is a great way to add some movement and steps to your day.
If you’ve been saying “I need to get out the house” and “I need therapy”… you can do both.
Consultations and separate documentation are required for Walk & Talk.
Walk and Talk therapy can be combined with traditional in-office therapy; however, It is not covered by insurance.
